Hahaha!
I was given this tribe a few months back, and I never remember to even READ Mark's column (though I love him), let alone get conversations going about them. As you can see, I just posted 5 or 6 that I'd missed since that *last* one that I remembered to post.
Sooooo, is anyone interested in taking the mantle? Anyone who actually read him twice weekly, and can put a fire under our butts to talk about it? I'm just overwhelmed with life, and even reading an article that long is daunting me <lol>.
Anyone? Bueller?

I think you also have to acknowledge - it is up to the members to generate a bit of content. Not just the mod.. -

Re: Reasons Why this Tribe Needs a New Moderator
Fri, February 8, 2008 - 3:06 PMYou're right, Bloke, and thanks.
I'm just asking if anyone would like to take over this Tribe, 'cause I've never really had an interest in moderating it...I just did it for a pal : ).
Anyone? Anyone? <g> -

Sat, February 9, 2008 - 10:25 PMIf you really don't want to do it - give it to me - and I will resist giving it back to your Pal... or maybe I will when she is not looking :) -

Interesting.. I know not much goes in here - but it is the only Mark Morford tribe on tribe.net and there might be some value in that...
If we changed it - perhaps it should be something along the lines of philosophical or social commentary on society in the media ? -

Okay folks.. we are months on from the statement which I made. .and I still kinda feel the same..
This tribe was decimated at one point.. threads deleted.. and the content very compromised.. so I would not want to pass it onto anyone I don't know.. actually nor do I feel a burning need to pass it on..
But here is an obvious fact..
Few people post anything here...
Comments ?
(and a Question.. does anyone know of another Mark Morford Tribe, which might even be "Private", which is active on tribe ?) -

I do look in from time to time.
Fri, April 25, 2008 - 4:25 AMIt would be a pity if there were no place to discuss his columns. It is a pity that no one seems to, at least not here. Does the SF Gate allow comments about his columns? I'm almost afraid to look, given the troglodyte knuckle-walkers who seem to froth and spew forth whenever anyone disagrees with Rush Limbaugh. -

Good news - it does allow readers to comment.. which they do.. this one www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi has 686 comments :) And there is also a "contact mark" link somewhere on the site.. -

Yep. The intellectual giants have gathered in response tho "All the President's Liars."
Sat, April 26, 2008 - 12:44 AMAs usual, it's the San Francisco Liberal Elite who make up all these nasty false things about our wonderful President and his glorious war in Iraq.
Here's a link to that column sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi -

Sat, April 26, 2008 - 8:44 PMwow, I'm kinda speachless... I'll need to process this information, which should take awhile, I sure missed that column somehow -

"All the President's Liars."
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 12:17 PMThere's a lot more on the NY Times web site. That's where the real meat (and dirt) is. It's a long article, but well worth reading. www.nytimes.com/2008/04/20...nerals.html -

Re: "All the President's Liars."
Tue, April 29, 2008 - 6:23 AMSomehow, someone invited me here, out of the blue.
I like the clarity and directness, and regarding the politics, it's always interesting how things keep developing.
As information and events happen day by day. -

I guess that was the topic of this topic, wasn't it?
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 9:09 PMIf no one else will do it I will.
My policy: benevolent dictatorship. Also, no spam allowed (although why anyone would bother such a tiny slow tribe is hard to fathom).
